Hey, I’m Elle.

I’m a trauma-informed birth and postpartum doula, and my heart beats for supporting mamas through one of the most sacred and transformative journeys of their lives. My passion for this work comes from my own story—a path shaped by deep pain but also incredible healing. As a survivor of sexual abuse, I know what it means to feel like your body isn’t your own. That’s why I’m fiercely committed to helping women reclaim their power, their voices, and their choices—especially when it comes to birth and postpartum.

Autonomy is at the core of everything I do as a doula. I believe birth is not something you endure; it’s something you own. You are not just strong—you are powerful beyond measure. My role is to remind you of that, to walk alongside you, and to equip you with the knowledge and confidence to make the decisions that feel right for you. Whether that means preparing you for birth, advocating for your choices in the delivery room, or supporting your postpartum recovery with nurturing care, I am here for you in the way that best serves you.

I don’t believe in limiting support to a few prenatal or postpartum visits—I want to walk with you every step of the way. That’s why I organize my packages by month, allowing you to receive the ongoing care, guidance, and reassurance you deserve. Maybe you want help processing past trauma before stepping into motherhood. Maybe you don’t want a doula at your birth but need hands-on support afterward as you recover and bond with your baby. However you need me, I will be there.

I integrate holistic, evidence-based, and natural methods into my care, helping mamas connect with their bodies and instincts. From hands-on comfort measures to emotional support, I weave in techniques like breathwork, mindfulness, aromatherapy, and nourishing postpartum healing traditions.

I am not here to tell you what’s best—I am here to remind you that you already know. My job is to hold space, uplift you, and help you discover the strength that has been inside you all along.

You are powerful. You are worthy. You are capable.

And I can’t wait to walk this journey with you.

My Approach

Listen.

Your story, your voice, and your desires matter. As your doula, my first priority is to listen—to truly hear you. Your past experiences, your fears, your dreams, and your vision for birth and postpartum all shape the journey ahead. Whether you’re navigating pregnancy after trauma, embracing your power as a first-time mom, or preparing for a deeply intentional birth, I want to understand you—your needs, your passions, and what makes you feel safe, supported, and seen.

Encourage.

Motherhood isn’t just about bringing a baby into the world—it’s about bringing a new version of yourself into the world. I’m here to remind you of your strength when doubt creeps in, to affirm your choices, and to hold space for you in both the beautiful and challenging moments. In labor, I’ll be your steady voice, cheering you on as you embrace your power. When things feel overwhelming, I’ll be the calm reassurance that grounds you.

Support.

Autonomy is everything. This is your birth, your body, your experience. My role is to provide you with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to make informed decisions. I advocate for you while also helping you find your own voice, because you deserve to be heard and respected. From comfort techniques and movement during labor to postpartum recovery and newborn care, I am here to support you in the ways that feel best for you—whether that’s hands-on physical support, emotional guidance, or simply being a trusted presence by your side.

Empower.

Birth is a deeply personal, transformative experience, and no two journeys look the same. Whether you want a home birth, hospital birth, epidural, unmedicated birth, or cesarean—you deserve to feel in control. I work with you to create a birth plan that honors your choices while preparing for the unexpected. And no matter what happens, you will never be alone in it.

Community.

You don’t have to do this alone. Whether you have a strong support system or feel like you’re walking this road solo, I will stand beside you. I became a single mom when I had my son, and I know how isolating it can feel. That’s why I create a space where you are fully supported—not just by me, but by a village of care. I work with your birth team—your partner, midwife, OB, family, or whoever is in your corner—to ensure they know how to best support you. And if you don’t have that built-in support, know that you have me.

Birth is not something that happens to you—it’s something you own. My job is to help you step into that power, to trust your body, your instincts, and your ability to birth in the way that is best for you.

You’ve got this. And I’ve got you.

Mama Coffee Circle

Join us every Monday at 10:00 a.m., alternating between Spill the Beans in downtown Greenville and The Old Post in downtown Easley! One week, we’ll meet in Easley, the next in Greenville, and then back to Easley again. It’s a warm and welcoming space where moms can connect, share their experiences, and support one another over coffee. We’d love for you to join us!

I started this group as a single mom because having other moms to talk to—whether for advice, recipes, or just some much-needed social time—has been so valuable for my mindset. As a doula, I also love learning from your experiences and sharing insights I’ve picked up along the way.

I can’t wait to meet you and welcome you into our growing community!

FAQ

  • First and foremost, there's no need to feel nervous. We'll begin with a free consultation to assess your needs and identify the package that best suits you. Additionally, we will ensure that our doula/mom relationship aligns well with your expectations.

  • A birth doula supports a mother and family during pregnancy, birth, and the early parts of transitioning baby into your life. We listen to your needs, concerns, and daily struggles. We encourage you when you're feeling discouraged. We support you with information, guiding you through the process with reassurance. We get to know you very well. We are by your side through it ALL.

  • A postpartum doula provides support during the early weeks following childbirth. We offer information, reassurance, and assistance with various tasks, including breastfeeding, postpartum recovery, overnight support, cooking, light cleaning, laundry, preparing bottles, and caring for your newborn or other children. Our goal is to help you focus on yourself and your newborn by providing the support that best meets your needs.

  • A trauma-informed doula is a birth and postpartum support professional who recognizes the impact of past experiences on pregnancy, birth, and parenting. Whether you've navigated medical trauma, sexual assault, pregnancy loss, or simply want a compassionate, non-judgmental presence, a trauma-informed approach ensures you feel safe, heard, and empowered.

This means I prioritize consent, choice, and emotional well-being in every aspect of care—helping you advocate for yourself, process emotions, and feel fully supported during this transformative time. Trauma-informed care isn’t just for trauma survivors; it’s for anyone who wants to be held with deep respect and understanding throughout their journey.

You deserve a birth and postpartum experience where you feel in control, valued, and supported. If this resonates with you, I’d love to walk this path with you.

  • A doula is not a necessity, but having access to knowledgeable, compassionate support can make your birth and postpartum experience smoother and more empowered. You already have the strength and intuition to navigate this journey, and a doula simply provides resources, reassurance, and practical guidance to help you feel more prepared and confident. Whether it’s answering questions, offering evidence-based advice, or holding space for you emotionally, a doula can be a valuable source of support—but ultimately, you are the expert of your own experience.

  • Doulas can significantly impact the outcome of your birth experience. We help reduce the risk of emergency interventions and other medical procedures. Our role involves providing constant physical and emotional support for you and your family, contributing to a calmer birthing environment.

We advocate for you when you may not be able to advocate for yourself. Research shows that parents who have a doula report higher satisfaction with their birth experience, improved interactions with their newborn, and stronger relationships with their partners compared to those without a doula.

Additionally, we offer knowledge about childbirth and provide natural pain relief methods as alternative options for labor pain management. Of course, if you choose medication, that's perfectly fine too!

  • Doulas actively involve partners in the birthing process by providing them with emotional support, and practical guidance on how to best support the birthing person, educating them about the stages of labor, advocating for their needs with the medical team, and ensuring they have breaks when needed. This approach treats partners as integral participants in the birthing experience rather than passive observers. Here are key ways doulas involve partners:

Educating and Preparing: Doulas meets with both partners prenatally to discuss labor options, comfort measures, and pain management techniques. This ensures that the partner is well informed and actively involved.

Emotional Support: Doulas offer reassurance and encouragement to the partner throughout labor, helping them manage stress and anxiety while they support their birthing partner.

Practical Guidance: Doulas can guide partners on how to provide physical support, such as massage, positioning, and breathing techniques, to help the birthing person cope with contractions.

Advocacy and Communication: Doulas can act as a bridge between the partner and the medical team, ensuring that their concerns and questions are addressed effectively.

Providing Breaks and Self-Care: Doulas encourage partners to take breaks when needed, helping them recharge and remain present during labor.

Normalizing the Experience: Doulas help partners understand what to expect during labor, normalizing the physical and emotional changes their birthing partner is experiencing.

Every birth journey is unique, and together, we’ll explore what works best for you. My goal is to provide compassionate, hands-on support while empowering both you and your partner to feel strong, safe, and in control throughout labor.

  • Every birth is unique, and my role as a doula is to provide compassionate, nonjudgmental support—no matter what choices you make. For those who choose or require medication during labor, I offer guidance, advocacy, and comfort techniques that complement medical pain relief while ensuring you still feel empowered and connected to your birth experience.

How I Support Women with Medicated Births

Informed Decision-Making – I help you understand your options, whether it’s an epidural, IV pain medication, or other interventions, so you can make choices that align with your needs and preferences.

Comfort & Positioning – Even with medication, movement and positioning play a key role in labor progress and comfort. I assist with optimal positioning to encourage baby’s descent, ease pressure points, and prevent discomfort from prolonged immobility.

Emotional & Mental Support – Sometimes, medical pain relief can bring unexpected emotions, such as feelings of loss of control or detachment. I provide reassurance, grounding techniques, and a calming presence to keep you feeling present and empowered.

Advocacy & Communication – I help ensure your birth preferences are honored and that you feel heard by your medical team. If unexpected interventions arise, I support you in asking questions and making informed choices.

Partner Involvement – If you have a birth partner, I guide them in providing hands-on support, emotional reassurance, and meaningful ways to stay engaged in the experience.

Post-Birth Recovery & Transition – After birth, I assist with initial postpartum care, ensuring you feel supported as your body recovers from medication effects and adjusting to the early moments with your baby.

Choosing a medicated birth does not mean you surrender control of your experience—it simply means you are using the tools that best support you. My goal is to ensure you feel strong, informed, and deeply connected to your journey, no matter how your birth unfolds.
